You will lay comfortably on the CT table as the scan takes place. The examination is quick and pain-free.

The examination is done in all our branches.

  • Only if IV contrast is administered, then you’ll need to drink plenty of fluid after the exam to help wash-out the contrast from your body, except if you are on fluid balance for renal or cardiac conditions, then please review your physician.

  • If you are a nursing mother, you might be advised to not lactate for 24 hours after contrast injection

In very rare cases some patients may experience contrast allergic reaction after IV contrast injection so if you have any previous history of allergy to IV contrast media it is safer to perform the exam without IV contrast.
